Hi all,

My wife and I would like to join a 4E game on Sunday evenings. We have the books and are experienced players, and I have DM'ed both 3rd and 4th editions. We are FG noobs, however. :D

We have voice chat but no video chat.

Fjolsmith sometimes thats the best way to get thinks started. Start a game get some good players together and down the track rotate GMs.

I'm interested in DM'ing but I have never before. I'm working on putting together a couple AP's and different campaigns in my off time mostly right now when I'm not busy with school. I'd like to find a group though in the meantime.

if you are new to DMing I would not be trying to write a whole campaign or adventure path - try something simple.

Also - check out FG Con - link in post above - and dont feel you need to limit your participation to D&D style games - there are so many great options out there and FG Con is a great opportunity to try different things and to meet new people - this will help you find like minded players in the future.

I'd like to try Savage worlds/C&C.. Was thinking of signing up to something on FG-Con. I'll keep it in mind.

I wish there was ADD 2nd edition stuff. Closest it seems like there is right now is C&C.

C&C is the closest thing to AD&D at this time and likely to remain that way.

So, if I wrote a 4E module for FG I wouldn't be able to sell it in the FG store?

If it includes WoTC copyright material - no.
If you include all your own monsters - ok.
Trenloe can give you an opinion on whether you can include Stat Block info on MM creatures...
WoTC cant/dont own copyright on a Dragon or a Goblin or a Troll for example but they do on a Beholder.
They cant copyright mechanics but they can on descriptions and text.
