Maps and Images

Had a power outage and lost all my Maps and Images. How to I recover them???

wha!? Assuming your harddrive didnt die they should still be in the images folder under the campain

Possibly your DB.xml got corrupted?
When in your campaign - open Images and click the folder at top left hand corner.
Move images out of here into another location.
Count to ten and copy them back - hopefully they will repopulate your DB..?

Hey Damned,
Tried that and there were no files in the folder. Is there a way to restore what was lost?? A backup folder or something in the FG structure?

FG has nothing to do with what is in the folder. It simply lists it in a window. You will need to deal with windows backup or system restore to get those files back. Where were the files before you put them in the FG folder? The outage should have just failed to save the location change. They might still be in the original location.

FG creates a backup of the db.xml only. But it also stores it in that very same folder. If you dont have a backup made thru a backup application (or even volume shadow copy) then it looks like your data is lots :(

Have a poke around in other Campaign folders in %appdata%\Fantasy Grounds\Campaigns in case you might have mis-remembered your Campaign name... small chance...
