When you go into ENCOUNTERS you can drop a bunch of NPCs there and then drag the one encounter box to the combat tracker and it fills it up completely. It would be AWESOME if a similar box existed for treasure/possessions. If an individual PC was killed I could drag a box next to his possessions to the Party Inventory section and it would populate so I didnt have to do it manually. Also if they defeated the entire encounter of five or six baddies I could just drag a single box from the encounter and it would populate the treasure. That would save a TON of time!

You can have treasure parcels now for your loot collected from the bad guys. Look inside Items.
And ruleset dependant - you can drag items from the PCs inventory to the Party Sheet and vice versa.

And you,can drag a link from a treasure parcel to the notes/other tab of an NPC which then allows you to drag that to the party sheet when you defeat the creature.

Then, as damned says you can drag/drop the parcel in the party sheet and the players can decide who gets what; with what's left being sold at a later date for the percentage the GM enters before pressing the sell button.

This functionality is in a lot of the CoreRPG based rulesets.

Im confused. I have FG open right now with just one npc selected. There is NOTHING under TREASURE at the bottom of the page that will allow me to click on it, much less drag and drop onto inventory. And dragging the box for the whole npc to the party sheet does nothing. I understand that I can drag from the 3.5e weapons or armor or magic items table to inventory. But I simply want to drag and drop a single NPC or a single encounter there after I have created either.
As far as I can tell this is not possible under current program.

*Exactly* what you're asking for isn't available, we're giving you options for what you can do now. Otherwise, add your request to the FG wishlist: https://fg2app.idea.informer.com/

Quick steps in 3.5e/PFRPG to describe what we mentioned above:

Click the "Items" sidebar and click "Parcels" at the top of the Items window.
Create a new parcel - this will hold the loot from the NPC.
Add money and items to the parcel (drag/drop from the rules module or create your own items).
Drag/drop the parcel to the "Other" tab of the NPC (you'll need to unlock the NPC record via the padlock icon).
When the players search the NPC, drag the look link from the NPC other tab to the party sheet -> Inventory -> Parcel items section.

Or, create a single treasure parcel for all of the encounter and drag/drop it to the party sheet after the encounter. There's no easy way to do this directly from the encounter window, so most GMs will have this in their Story description - this is what a lot of the good commercial modules do. For example:

In summary, you can do what you're asking for now - but not exactly in the same place and not fully automated.

You can add individual treasure parcels to an NPC record by dragging the treasure parcel link to the NPC "Other" tab. This allows you to drag/dop the NPC loot into the party sheet -> inventory tab. Drag/drop multiple times for multiple creatures, the party sheet will add on the contents of each drag/drop.
Create a treasure parcel for the whole encounter and link this to a story entry so that you have access to the encounter, the loot and details of the area/location where it takes place. You can drag/drop the link to the loot treasure parcel directly from the story entry to the party sheet.

Stuff for future development:

Have a link holder next to the "Treasure" entry on the NPC "Main" tab that allows drag/drop allocation of an individual NPC treasure parcel to an NPC record.
Add an "Encounter Loot" button to the Encounter window that will take all of the treasure parcels assigned to each creature (via the link mentioned in #1 above) and add all of them at once to the party sheet.
More complex - parse the NPC treasure entry and auto-create a treasure parcel for the NPC, which would then be used with #1 and #2 above to make it all pretty much automated.

The above would be pretty cool...
