I am wanting to transfer the story boards I did in FG for a Savage Worlds game I used to run in the War of the Dead setting into the CORErpg set I have set up for an End of the World Zombie Apocalypse game.

Can anyone please describe to me how this can be done?

If you mean all the story entries, you can open up the original campaign's db.xml in whatever editor you use and copy all the data between the story tags. Open up the new campaigns db.xml and paste the data between the story tags there.

That's how I have done it. Make sure you do not have any existing story entries in the new campaign as it will cause errors and issues with duplicate entry tags.

Or export them into a module, open up the module ZIP file and edit the definition.xml file - change the <ruleset> tag to CoreRPG, or just delete it completely. Re-package the module and then open it up in a CoreRPG campaign - you will have access to the story entries in a new tab in the Story list.

Will it matter that his original SW campaign would not have been CoreRPG based?
Is the Story structure consistent across both?

I tried Blahness98's suggestion and it didn't work. I keep getting a database error every time I load this campaign now. Anyone know how I can make it just give me a default database for this campaign now please?

UPDATE: I deleted out these storyboard entries I had pasted in from the other campaign and now the database error is not happening anymore. I just wish I could find a simple way to use these in my new campaign but it isn't working out so far.

zip up the source campaign file (minus images) and also create a new blank core campaign and zip that up and post a dropbox link and Ill have a look.
