I have had Fg for some months now and have only seen one Gm looking for players in regards to C &C ... Of course I promptly applied and was accepted for it..However I would like to do a little more gaming.. But I can not find any C & C GMs looking for players.. I'm looking to start a game of my own in the somewhat near future but would like to get more playing under my belt prior to doing so... So is there something I'm missing or are there just that few Gms that run C & C .... I see PF all over the place but would rather play C&C also have been considering SW HOE reload or Weird wars 2 but have never played any of the SW games so am unsure if I would enjoy them..

I have one campaign running but with 7 players Im all full - this group (well parts of it anyway) have been going for nearly 4 years but we will hopefully wrap up in a month and Ill be playing in a 5e game instead for a little while at least.

Im also a player in another which also has approx 7 players...

Why not GM? Start up a game. You may get players in the same situation. The hobby can always use new GMs.

@Valarian - I have intentions of Gming a game or two a week but want to get a better idea of the mechanics of FG before doig so... I don't want to lose players due to my ineptitude with FG.. Both C&C as well as FG deserves to be treated properly..
@Damned - I understand there are quite a few C&C Gms ... It just surprises me that I never see any listings for games especially since they have PF games starting up all over the place..

Pathfinder games are more like one-shots or very short campaigns. C&C games tend to take the form of long-running campaigns with very little turnover.

If you'd like to try C&C I can have you hop into one of my games as a "guest npc" for a couple of sessions.

@jhall6766: To a certain extent, I think you are comparing apples to oranges with the PF to C&C comparisons. The difference is the C&C games are standard campaign type games and long running, however a significant number of PF games are for organized play which are basically one shots that only last one session. This means the organized play games are always starting and stopping. It's the constant starting that typically generates a great number of the treads.

Don't get me wrong, Pathfinder is popular and there are long running games, but the organized play guys are generating a lot of posts.

@Andraax - Thank You for the invite... But I have played C & C in a few sessions both TT and VTT ... I guess my thing is that I have always Gmed games when I was younger in a Time before VTTs.. I have just got back into gaming and the group I used to have no longer exists.. I'm looking to ease myself back into Gming games but want more experience with FG before I jump into GMing..

@Griogre - Yes I seemed to have overlooked the fact that most PF game postings are for society play..

its like 4e - you hardly see any 4e games being advertised but there are still plenty being played.
