Interest Check Savage Worlds Fantasy

Just doing an interest check got a Savage Worlds Fantasy game idea. Thinking about Bi weekly Wednesdays at 6:00 to 10:00 Central time.

shrug, edited it after I replied. Originally he indicated savage fantasy in the thread which I took to mean a setting not a system. Not like i remembered what the title was after I opened a new tab anyways. >_>

Couple of things this is only my 3rd time doing savage worlds, first on FG. So please bear with me. That being said as far as setting go’s I've gotten a couple of questions via PM I’m going to answer here that way if someone else has the same question, its’ there.



1. This will not be low magic per se. The setting was devised with the intent of the default magic level for 5e. I.e. Casters are not super rare, but magic items are rare. I fully intend to use player back-story/backgrounds to flesh out the setting.

2. This will be a Hexploration type game, where the party will be originally hired to explore map and if they want settle the area. Major plot hooks and threads will be based off of the PC’s with a few major overarching points. (i.e. Demon War, what happened to the Elven & Halfling Race, what is causing dead and or wild magic area’s, to name a few.)

3. I will be using the Core Savage Worlds book, and the Fantasy Guide, if there is something from another book you want, I’ll need to look at it first, if it fit’s I will probably say yes.

so, I am hoping for a 2/25 start date, if not two weeks after. So hopefully we can come up with 2-3 more folks by then. The first session will be character and background creation.
