Anyone willing to make a simple ruleset for the TSR game The Adventures of Indiana Jones? This should be fairly simple to do and my players would appreciate it greatly!

Why can't you use CoreRpg?

Why can't you use CoreRpg?

I don't know how. If someone could tutor me on it I'd totally be willing. I have Skype, Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Mumble, etc. and am in the U.S. eastern time zone.

It's pretty easy.

Open up a new character sheet.
One the main tab press the brown / edit button in the top right and add a heading by pressing the green + button.
Type in the header name for that section and press the green + icon to the left of the header name to add a new skill.
Enter the skill name and then right-click on the d6 icon below the chat window, select the number of d6 that will be used for this skill and drop them on the skill line - you'll see some dice icons added to the skill entry.
double-click the dice icons on the skill entry to roll the dice.
Repeat for all of the skills you need.

Here's a basic example:

You can also create a template character sheet that you can export and re-import to create blank characters with the skills you've previously set up. Export and import is done from the character management window: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/wiki/index.php/Character_Management

So I download and install CoreRPG and then load the extension. Then I follow your directions above, right?

Also, does anyone know how I can install a custom wallpaper?

CoreRpg is already included in FG.
For a new wallpaper Damned has provided sample skin extensions on the FG Con website. Unzip one of those and swap out the desktop image with the one you want (make sure you respect the size of the original) close it back up and you got yourself a new background.

You'll already have CoreRPG installed as a ruleset - it is the baseline for most of the current FG rulesets. Then follow the directions above.

There's no extension.

If you want to load a custom wallpaper do it like you've done before. We know you've done it before! ;)

Or take one of damned's cool themes and modify that: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?22634-New-Themes-Available

Do I need to do anything to load CoreRPG or do I load any ruleset?

daddystabz, you want to choose Create New Campaign and then choose CoreRPG for the ruleset. Name it whatever you want, such as Indiana Jones.
