Hey all,

if i add an image to the "images & maps" then delete it, it somehow will reappear in the list! furthermore, if i delete the image then bring in a different image with the same filename as the first, the first image appears in its spot. anyone else see this?

flush the cache using the little Atomic Symbol.

i dont know if this was ever *fixed* but if you put a new image in with the same name as an existing/previous it would keep the old images dimensions.
generally I would recommend that you dont re-use image names.

you can edit the DB file and remove the errant image entry(s) if it wont clear up...

one last point - are you storing your campaign data (%appdata%\fantasy grounds\campaigns) on Dropbox/OneDrive/Box/Copy/GoogleDrive etc?
this is not recommended for long term use - it will eventually corrupt your campaign data.

Flushing the player cache won't do anything in this instance - that is for the player side, not the GM editing a campaign.

You can't delete an image file from the Maps and Images window in FG - deleting is just for free form images that you created using the "New" button. As you are experiencing, FG will just bring the image back up if it is an image file as FG is re-reading your campaign \images directory and the file hasn't been deleted from there.

If you delete an image from the campaign \images directory and then put an image with the same name back in the directory FG will keep the original campaign references for the original file with the same name. If you want to properly clear these out: delete the image file/s from windows explorer and then close windows explorer (this triggers a refresh in Fantasy Grounds), then type /save in the chat window - this will update the base image references (removing the image references you have just deleted), then open the images folder again and you copy your images into the folder. Close Windows explorer and your images should be back in the campaign, but not linked to the previous image references.
