Errors with the C&C Items.

I'm getting errors every time I try to open a monster's stats in the C&C items. I have the C&C Ruleset, Castle Keeper's Guide, Monsters and Treasure of Aihrde, Classic Monsters, Gods and Monsters, and Rune Lore installed.

The error I get anytime I click on a monster's name to open it's stat block is for example

Unable to create window with data source (monster : monsterdescription.index.agathion@Classic Monsters : monster)

What version of the C&C ruleset does Fantasy Grounds report in the chat window after you load up a C&C campaign?

Is it just the Classic Monsters module that is an issue, or do you have problems opening a monster from Monsters and Treasure also, for example?

Monsters and Treasure, Monsters and Treasure of Aihrde and Rune Lore as well. Pretty much any monster entry that is not separated out like Dragons are gives me that error.

What version of FG are you using?

Go into Settings and enter your forum ID and password and then run the updater again... you may have an old version of something somewhere.

First - have you activated the Castles and Crusades Players Handbook?
Check all your C&C Modules are activated in Library -> Modules

If they are and the issue persists -
Please go into your rulesets directory and remove the CoreRPG and Castles&Crusades rulesets.
In modules directory remove all your C&C modules.
Re-run the updater and let it download the current versions again.

You might have to reactivate all the modules again after that.

1) Yes.

Done that.

I've even wiped the entire program, gone through the registry manually and wiped all traces of the program and reinstalled everything.

After that failed I tried installing on my test machine where I will install everything including the OS fresh to test things. This is a machine where I wipe the partitions before every rebuild to make sure it is clean. And the error persists.

Anyone have any ideas that a guy who works in techsupport for a living wouldn't have tried already?

Confirm that you see this in the chat window when you start your C&C campaign:

If you do see this, create and load up a CoreRPG campaign and see what version it shows in the chat window.

And there is the item I'm missing. Fantasy Grounds II is 3.0.10 and CoreRPG is 3.0.10, Castles and Crusades is still sitting at version 2.0.

Since it doesn't show in the updater other then having to buy it again is there anyway to update it?

Just noticed mine is the same, version 2. It looks as though the link for the DriveThruRPG order to the Fantasy Grounds store didn't work at all, not in the settings or store order info, and that the DriveThruRPG versions aren't up to date.

Savage Worlds is the same, the SW3.4.1 version rather than the latest CoreRPG (3.0.10) / SW4 version.

OK, as per earlier suggestion; launch FG - click on Settings - enter your forum ID and password - press update - should update the list of FG products in the window just above - click on OK - back at launcher screen click Update - should pull in the most up to date versions of everything you're supposed to have, not just C&C.

If however, your FG purchases aren't linked to your account, I don't know if this will work.

Edit: in which case the advice in the two posts above mine should fix it. :)

No, it won't work as the updated relies on purchases being linked to your account to know what to update.
