Hi!

While I am planning to run a session at FG Con, I don't consider myself experienced (well, not with FG anyways).

I would love to play in a session run by an FG veteran, though - there is always stuff about how to use FG that I can still learn (apart from it being fun, most likely :P).

Do you have any plans?

if you can join in a game by Mask_Of_Winter or Sunspoticus you should experience a well run session by a good Savage GM.

4 am or 9 am (that might work)? Ouch. Not sure how to sell that to my wife / kids. It's a start, though. I'll definitely not run my session at that time ;-).

I'll be running at least 2, I think. Probably a Fate game. I'm not yet sure what the other might be (The One Ring, Night's Black Agents, Star Trek, Yggdrasill, Cairn). Too many games to choose from.

Sorry to post on this thread - Valarian - Im having a lot of trouble adding another Icon to teh chat window on loading up a CoreRPG based ruleset. Ive got JPGs loading but mine wont load. Ive peeked at your code - actually I even tried stealing it whole sale - from Fate - but still only the text displays and not the graphic - do you recall having any issues getting this working?

No, this is from the Yggdrasill ruleset where I've done the same thing. It's run from a script file I've called chat_intro.lua

<script name="IntroText" file="scripts/chat_intro.lua"/>

function onInit()
local fontmsg = {font = "emotefont", icon="fate_core_token"};
fontmsg.text = "The Fate Core font is © Evil Hat Productions, LLC and is used with permission.";
local intromsg1 = {font = "emotefont", icon="logo_token"};
intromsg1.text = "Yggdrasill is published by 7éme Cercle Sarl, all rights reserved © 2009 Le 7éme Cercle";
local intromsg2 = {font = "emotefont", icon="logo_token"};
intromsg2.text = "Yggdrasill (English Language Edition) © 2012 Cubicle 7 Entertainment Ltd. All rights reserved.";
local modmsg = {font = "emotefont", icon="logo_token"};
modmsg.text = "Fantasy Grounds ruleset modifications by Ian M Kirby";
ChatManager.registerLaunchMessage(fontmsg);
ChatManager.registerLaunchMessage(intromsg1);
ChatManager.registerLaunchMessage(intromsg2);
ChatManager.registerLaunchMessage(modmsg);
end

The logo_token is declared as normal in the graphics_icons.xml

<!-- Ruleset Icon -->
<icon name="logo_token" file="graphics/icons/portrait_token_logo.png"/>

Alas FG CON 6 coincides with the run up to the London Marathon that weekend I will be away from home setting up the IT infrastructure for the London Marathon staff and the press up in central London.

I'll just have to wait for FG Con 7 :(

I plan to run one or two sessions of Deadlands Noir. I'm not quite "experienced" as an FG GM, but I'm getting there.

I may do a morning session as a GM, which seemed compatible with European time zones last time (I'm in UTC-5 / US Eastern).

I'll be running one. Probably a test run of my updated Shadowrun ruleset... But I may run Achtung! Cthulhu again if there's interest.

Not an experienced Savage Worlds GM yet, but I have been running Pathfinder Society scenarios for a few FGCONs so know what I am doing in FG.

Making the switch to SW when my current Pathfinder campaign is finished so I have been playing around a lot more with the new update to get acclimated.

I am planning on doing one Last Parsec game and either a Hammer's Slammers or Starship Troopers game as my second offering.

Oooh. Sounds like a lot of good choices for my personal tastes. Now I am really looking forward to FG Con and I'll alert my crew, too (after I have signed up for the choice scenarios, of course)!

I now added my Swashbuckling adventure "The Baker's Daughter" (using the All for One module I made). Unfortunately the only time slot I reasonably had available (I can play when I am tired, but not GM so well :( ) overlaps with the Weird Wars II adventure :(.

That leaves the Savage Battlestar adventure to play in...

There's plenty more Savage Worlds coming from SXG. Stay tuned.

That'd be very nice. After taking into account that the dastardly summer savings time switch hits us two weeks before the Con, all of Jolly's events move into the past midnight frame every night (which on Sun-Mon kind of makes it awkward, luckily I won't have to go to work the following day ;-)).

Still - given the great settings for Savage Worlds, I would love to see more sessions during the (European) afternoon/evening. Any GMs up for that?
