I wanted to test how some things looked from the client side and tried to launch a second instance of the client and Steam keeps stopping it saying the game is already running. Am I missing a setting somewhere to allow this? And I swear I was able to do this recently.

You can't use the link provided by Steam oon your desktop you need to create a link to the actual program to run a second client. I've installed my FG in a non-standard area so I can't help on where to find the fantasygrounds.exe file to create a link to.

Depending on what operating system you're runnign you can right-click on the instance of FG running in the taskbar and select "Fantasy Grounds" and a new instance of FG will start. What operating system are you running?

I'm running Win7. The taskbar solution did not work, but finding the exe and running it as admin did. Many thanks. Oh and an added complication I'm running from a non-admin user on the system. (I may have tested this from the admin account earlier.)

Thanks for the help
