Most FG 3 CoreRPG based rulesets have a \strings folder that contains and XML file that contains the strings used in the majority of the ruleset. You can change the strings in this file. I'd recommend doing this as an extension so that your work can be turned off/on and won't be overwritten by subsequent updates.
