Forgive me if this has been asked before. It seems like a common question, but I could not find the answer.

Would custom content (Races, Classes, ect..) created in Herolab still import correctly to the PFRPG ruleset?

I suppose it would show up, but lack any function?

Yes, it should come over as text. Depending on how it is configured in Hero Lab, you may get additional information (weapon bonuses, damage dice, etc.). Also, FG will attempt to parse spell descriptions to create rolls and effects automatically, with varying levels of success depending on how closely the text matches standard spell descriptions.

Cheers,

I've not purchased Herolab as of yet, but I was interested in using a custom setting file (Eberron specifically). Hopefully it will remain close enough to pathfinder that many of the features will remain in tact.

Thank you for your response.

Might I suggest PCGen (pcgen.org) instead of HeroLab? :) And like the other said everything except spells "should" copy over since it's just text, You may need to make spells in fg if you want the descriptions and such.
