Looking for players for D&D 3.5

Hey, guys!

I'm a recent arrival, and I'm building a campaign for a home-made fantasy world, using the D&D 3.5 system. The idea - on the long run - is to build a campaign that gravitates around the characters' involvement in the political events that will define the history of the continent they inhabit. The game will be directed according to the personal background of each character in a sandbox fashion, holding npc's and GM controlled factions as forces that will react to the group's decisions.
In order to accomplish that, I'd like to run a pilot-episode - something a little less open, for the time being - in order to present the mood and theme of the campaign, as well as test Fantasy Grounds as an instrument to implement this project. This story would take place in the Feud of Golgotha, one of the many regions of the continent named simply as The Broken Promise. Aside this first location and a few pointers on the political history of the feud, everything else would be conducted from the characters' personal interests and backgrounds.

Sessions at Saturdays or Sundays, 9 A.M.-11 A.M. or 7 P.M.-9 P.M. (GMT -2, due to local daylight saving time). We might discuss different hours if need be, but I pretty much need to do it on weekends, considering my work schedule.

hey i would be interested in giving it a shot i havnt done any dnding in a long time and have been looking to get back into it for some time now i could probably do the evening time on either saturday or sunday im est time zone (i think) plus ive never used FG before so ill probably be a little slow at start if thats not a problem then id be happy to give it a shot.

What character templates are allowed?
Are any specific templates going to be encouraged?
Is detouring the session allowed in order to poke and prod at aspects of the world lore?

We are actually still coming out of planning and into the game. Just think of a level 1 character (all races and classes possible) and we'll build some plot around it.

From what I could tell with shared information, and the lack of connectivity, I recently advised Auberon via private message to check dynamic/static IPv4 settings on his LAN.
