Has anybody used Fg for running any Palladium Rifts games.... If so how did it work out and which rulesets can be easily used for such.... If not what are the perceived problems and Issues involved with the effort to do so ??

Well, no answers in a year huh lol? That is disappointing. I was wondering the same thing. I was also wondering if anyone was designing or had designed something for it.

nyet.
you can use CoreRPG.
I doubt very much that there is anywhere near enough demand for a Rifts ruleset - sorry.

Perhaps things will change with RIFTS coming to Savage Worlds in the near future? Hopefully this will introduce a bunch of new players to the campaign setting and fix what's wrong with the Palladium system.

There is a good Savage Worlds community here and there are RIFTS fans about so hopefully it will be great!

Wha?!

How is this possible and when is this happening? Is there a conversion system proposed or will thy be re-releasing the Rifts setting with the Savage Worlds system?

I've always been a fan of the setting of Rifts, but hated the system...

Found this on Google: https://www.peginc.com/rifts-is-coming-for-savage-worlds/
From what I heard they were delayed by artwork. Over on enworld it made it to the top of the most anticipated table-top rpg of the year list.

From what I understand, they're going to Kickstart it, but details are sparse. No timeline other than after the 1st of the year: https://www.pegforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=48485&p=440608&hilit=rifts#p440608

There was a lot of hype leading up to this one as well. I was never a fan of Palladium's Rifts as it turned into a complete uber-mess when they started releasing the various World Books. I have backed the current incarnation because based on the discussions I have listened to with Sean Patrick Fannon, I think that they have done a pretty good job of of bringing Rifts into Savage Worlds. There is going to be a crazy amount of stretch goals added to this so it happens to be great value at the moment. Will I play it? Sure, I will most definitely give it a go, but not necessarily going to give it a go as GM.

I'll kick off the conversion as soon as I get the PDFs.

Good luck with the scripting!
The Iconic Frameworks would be cool to have like racial templates instead of having to drag and drop every element it contains to the character sheet.
Just sayin' ;)

There is a really old, bare bones Ruleset for the existing Rifts system.

https://fgrepository.com/category/rulesets/system/rifts/

From my tests on it, it seems to work. It is a very bare bones ruleset based on the old foundation ruleset though.
