For the 3d map makers out there, Axis Game Factory's AGFPRO: PREMIUM Bundle is on 70% discount on steam. great tool in the tradition of nwn toolsets but easier to use with a modern engine...looks easier to get custom assets into too

Yes, dangers of Holiday sales. I also couldn't resist the battle map DLC with "8 player DM mode"...

i havent really had a chance to look at it too far - but can you actually build a game with this or does it build the scenery etc and you use Unity to build the game?

Same just started looking at the tutes, I think you can do a decent amount within AGF and it's player, or export to unity for more ambitious games.

This looks really nice, I've been keeping an eye out for a 3D tabletop system as I think that is the next step.

As a VTT, there's also Tabletop Connect. It's in development at the moment, with regular releases out to Kickstarter backers. From what I've seen so for, it could be very good. 3D maps and a decent character sheet builder.

I've tried AGF Pro and found it a little too complex for my needs, though I thought it'd be great for 3D artists and games designers.
