When I create or load a Fate Core (free version) campaign, it crashes the FG program while loading. I've attempted deleting both the ruleset & extension and updating, but no luck. The crash only gives an error that it has stopped working.

Any ideas?

Please do the following before starting your campaign:

From the startup screen of FG go to the "Settings" window and select "Enable Debug Mode". Press "OK" and then "Close" to take you back to the FG startup screen.
Click the App Data Folder icon in the top right corner of the screen. This will open Windows Explorer at the FG application data folder, don't close windows explorer.
Start your campaign that crashes FG.
After the crash go back to the windows explorer instance that you opened in step 2 above and open the console.log file. Copy the contents and paste them here - you might want to remove any IP address information.

I just loaded up a FATE Core campaign using version 3.0.9. Are you having any problems with other rulesets?

You mentioned an extension, which extension are you using?

@Trenloe: Console log as follows:
[15.11.2014 19:40:34] Runtime Notice: Initializing DirectX
[15.11.2014 19:40:34] Runtime Notice: Initializing COM
[15.11.2014 19:40:35] Runtime Notice: Fantasy Grounds starting
[15.11.2014 19:40:52] Runtime Notice: Refreshing alias
[15.11.2014 19:40:53] Runtime Notice: Alias refresh result = Success
[15.11.2014 19:40:53] Runtime Notice: Host session started
That's where it ends.

@ddavison: So far, every other ruleset works fine.

@Valarian: There was a FateCore extension in addition to a ruleset. It hasn't reappeared after I updated, so that may have been an error on my part.

Ok, so it's starting OK.

Go into the <FG App data>\rulesets folder. Delete "Fate Core.pak" and if there is a directory called "Fate Core" delete that too. Then run an update - this should download the latest ruleset, it might have been that you had a corrupt ruleset that wasn't being updated properly.

That did it! I also deleted the Fate blank skills extension on this go-around as well.

Thank you!

Great. Glad to hear that you're up and running.
