Good evening,

After being away from gaming for a few years, I thought I would jump back in. I am used to pen and paper in a basement somewhere but thought I would give FG a shot. I am looking for a Savage Worlds game setting.

Again new to this online, digital setting.

Just let me know.

Check out the Society of Extraordinary Gamers: https://extraordinarygamers.com/ They have regular Savage Worlds games running on Fantasy Grounds. They're a great bunch to game with. :)

Lots of great Savage GMs there - and so many different game genres.
Join these G+ groups too for more info.

Thank you for the information. I was afraid that I was not going to be able to find a game. I am going to be a lurker for awhile till I figure things out. I am still nervous about this "online" gaming. Will go see about joining those google groups. Again thanks for helping out a newbie.

Don't lurk! Sign up and play, even if it's just to play red shirt #3! Or the plucky comic relief glorified extra! Just do it!

Most GMs will allow you to join their game and observe - you'll be able to connect Fantasy Grounds as a player (but don't take control of a PC) and if the group is using voice you can join and listen in on the game. No need to talk to people or interact in anyway - you'll be able to see how a specific group plays and how fun online PnP role-playing can be.

I like red shirt #4. Most times they just get hurt and mostly dead. They might get the chance to be in the next show. But it all depends if miracle max is on the job...
