Are Effects working? If so, I'm not sure I have it quite right. I tried to make one for Defend and set it up as Parry +2. It never really showed up in the combat tracker when I tried to drag it to the characters.

You have to manually shift the parry up by two.

And I figured I could do that, I was just wondering if effects could do it temporarily for me without having to make modifications to the characters. I've spent most of my gaming time in D&D rulesets (5E lately) and that's how the effects work there.

Yeah, the Savage Worlds effects could do with a bit of similar love. As we've not had automatic hit calculating, it's not been as big an issue. But as we are inheriting some of that, thanks to Ikael's coding efforts, in the next version (which goes into TEST anytime now) it's going to be more important to track effects with greater automation.

In short, it doesn't track it. Yet :)

Awesome, my group pretty much stays in test mode for 5E so when SW4 hits we will make the switch for our space game :)
