In between coding and porting work, I like to wind down by creating maps! Here's a sneak peek of a couple of encounter maps from an soon to be released Wilderness Encounter Map Pack.

I aim to include 10 maps per pack, each pack will contain themed maps (City, Caverns, Dungeons, Temples & Crypts ... ) allowing for a variety of gameplay encounters. The maps will be released in Module format (for easier distribution) and will be sized to a 50px grid. More to follow.

Thanks. Any particular map/scene that you feel should be included in the packs, shout here. Same goes for everyone.

Will these modules be available for purchase from the store or added to FG as standard, like the recent "FG Battle Maps" module?

Looks great, Dr. Zeus --- as always, your work is superb and you've been a blessing to our community. I'll definitely be willing to purchase some map packs of those quality that are generic enough to pull out for random encounters and such.

Road ambush scenes get my vote!

Oh, and great looking maps :)

Nice job Zeus, what program do you use to create them?

I was planning to make these particular packs available for purchase from the store. The intention here is to provide generic encounter maps that can be used in any fantasy themed FG game so the re-usability factor should be high. Pricing has not been finalised yet but will be reasonably set for each pack of 10 encounter maps.

I am also planning on releasing some free maps (here) - drawn in a similar style to those above - on a monthly basis. A sort of Map-a-Month give-away.
