Any recommendations for a short D&D scenario? Ideally a modern one, or at least one with decent maps available. It can be any flavour of D&D, and should be easily available.

The second one is a group of short adventures of different levels.

The 5E Starter Set is broken up into episodes. You could very likely get the first one in done in one or two sessions.

A0 - Crow's Rest Island is available as a free web based scenarios here: https://adventureaweek.com/adventures/a-series/a0-crows-rest-island/. Excellent maps and a good one session (3-4 hours) scenario. If you're planning on running on FG then the FG module gives you the whole scenario ready to go.

More AAW scenarios are being added every couple of weeks or so...

Agree it looks good, didn't know how playable it was as a single game, instead of the multi-table game.
