I will be running the included adventure, and have the premade’s available.

I will be using the Beta ruleset. I’m hoping to start this weekend if there is enough interest, and finish this in 3 to 4 weeks.

If you are interested in giving this a shot let me know. I will be using Teamspeak for all communications.

Haven't had the chance to play 5e yet so if your cool with someone picking up on the new additions to the rules I'd be down.

I've played 3.5/Pf and some 4e and skimmed the 5e rules.

As for preferred class, Wizard then cleric.

You can change anything but the backgrounds, I kind of like to keep the story lines as is.

Would you by chance be accepting players that don't even have enough XP to be lvl 0? I'm familiar with dnd up to 3.5 (some 4e) but not so much with FG other than playing around with the campaign designer. Was considering getting the 5e starter set friday to familiarize myself with the rules.

No worries the basic rules are free from the wotc site. And I linked the characters above. Just confirm if you are going to play and which character and that you can use Team speak and talk.

I'm new to virtual table top but not new to TTRPGs. I've played on and off for years and i'm looking to get back in. The schedule is great for me and I'll play any of the remaining characters. I have never played a rouge before and it intrigues me so that would be my first choice.

This will be my first FG game. Do I make the character in my FG game and import it? The characters will be from the basic rules pre mades? I will play a fighter if the slot is open.

Depending on how the playtest go's, I may continue running something afterwords with folks creating their own characters. I have a few idea's but I want to see how 5E plays before I commit to anything.

Just to inform I'm not going to be able to play today with such short notice, my sundays are free but I scheduled something for this sunday as I wasn't aware you wanted to play ASAP.

Not much st all story wise, 1 small combat and one chain combat. And a lot of learning on all our parts, I think. I too had a blast, everything seemed fresh and to flow easily

Guy's glad to hear folks had fun, I went back over thing's and noticed a few things I did wrong and figured I would share with ya'll.

1. Withdrawing from combat, if you are engaged with someone, it's an action to withdraw without an attack of opportunity. Now if you move around the person you are fine, but if you move away from them you take the attack.
2. Inspiration there were a couple of times I probably should have given it, but didn't.
3. Cover should have been granted to the goblins in the first fight that where in the woods. Not a huge deal but another nit pick.
4. Casting Healing Word is a Bonus action for the cleric, again not huge but would have given another action.

I also update the character sheets and gave an action for second wind to where you can click on it and it heal's you.

The important thing is to have fun playing D&D. DM's can bend the rules in the name of fun, I doubt the players will have a complaint. Talysian, Thank you for a fun game! Looking forward to this Sunday's game with everyone.

That's almost funny. We've been without power a good portion of the day and finally got ours back on. Doesn't help the temps are close to 100 with 70% humidity. Damn Illinois weather. Hi, I would be interested, could we make our own characters with the standard array 15-14-13-12 10 8? or do we have to use pre-gens? I don't have the pre-gens or the Basic set but I have the 5e PHB and could make a full fleshed out character from there. let me know. Thanks!
