If I have a bunch of Modules and Extensions that I am planning to use in my campaign. Do my players also need to download and install the same Modules and Extensions before they connect or will they automatically be pushed to the players when they connect to my "server"?

Depends on the module, some are GM only.

Before FG 3.0 some modules would have to be installed on the player side to be able to be used (type = client). However, in FG 3.0 this is not the case and the players will download modules they don't have available locally.

Extensions will be downloaded from the GM as well.

Thanks all. I figured it would be too inconvenient if the players had to go get all the stuff individually, but just wanted to be sure.

they wont have access to the modules though except while connected to you and if you give them permissions to open...
when not connected to you they will also need the module if they want to use them offline.
