I was working on a few things in WH40k ruleset and I noticed that effects won't support single character damage types.
Force instance I use "e, i, r, and x" as damage types. When I use it for RESIST, IMMUNE, VULN it works fine, using it for DR it doesn't bypass DR and will report a partial or full resist. I tested with two characters such as ex, and it works fine. (This assumes Data Common is confirgured for the various characters). More interesting is the fact I can use DR: (n) x and x and it will work.
I have been poking around in the files for the better part of 4 hours trying various things, then decided to reach out. Anyone think of where/why this may be the case?
