Sale time is as exciting as it is frustrating

Fantastic that the Web store has the sane prices as steam and my first thought was "I can grab the ultimate upgrade and start a game this weekend!"

Then the thought of a steam community choice, flash sale or daily deal struck.

I can feel your pain. I am also a notorious bargain shopper. You have until the 30th to take advantage of the sales. If you haven't seen it by then, I'd go ahead and grab it.

I really wish there was an easy way to do what Best Buy and other stores do where you automatically get the sale price if it occurs within 30 days of your purchase -- or something like that. As far as I know, Steam doesn't have this feature and trying to manage something like that manually from our own store would be very painful.

It probably would if our store handled that. :)

Our store was homegrown with hooks into all sorts of things hacked into it.
