We are a group of beginners who bought the software a while back but haven't been able to play. We are looking for a GM to show us the ropes and have fun with.

You will need to specify what game system you are interested in playing.

Mountain Time Zone (UTC-07:00)
We were thinking either 3.5E or 4.0E

How many is we? Pathfinder is D&D 3.75, ever consider that system? Seems to me most split with pathfinder, or 4e +. Personally i feel 4e is wow pen and paper with D&D flavor. So it's a bit difficult to find 3.5 when Pathfinder has developer support and 3.5 doesn't. https://www.d20pfsrd.com/ take a look, judge for your selves. My blood sugar is a bit out of wack so if I come across as curt I apologize.

I've been seeing what seems to be a lot of one shot games being posted here lately using different systems. If you don't get any immediate takers on your offer I recommend keeping an eye out for more of those.

I could run your group through some Castles & Crusades one shots that I have. Similar to D&D.

What would I need? That sounds interesting to try.

One shots are a great way to check out other systems. You don't need anything or do anything other than connect to the GM's game. The adventure he has for you will load everything you need to play into your copy of FG. You only have the info for the time you are connected to the game.

Nothing, just a 4 hour or so time slot. Maybe 2 of them about a week apart if I need to spend a lot of time teaching. Just let me know when your group can get together, I'll see if I'm available (give me a few choices...)

Would we need to have Characters created or not?

I have a one shot (mostly) setup and ready to go, with 8 pre-gen characters. Just let me know when you guys can all get together at the same time.

How big is your group and what time of day were you looking to play at?

Our group is definitely three players and possibly a fourth that we are unsure of. We have an extremely flexible schedule. Also I have looked into Pathfinder and think that would be an extremely great game to play.

Pathfinder is a fantastic system to play, It's easy to learn and flexible. It's also a lot of fun!

I also recommend Savage Worlds, It's a universal system that is quick, fun, and easy to play!
