Can Players See Images in Notes?

As the players meet NPCs I'm going to make public a note per NPC so they will feel like they are exploring the world and also have something to refer to later. I know, the Locations extension is good, but I'd prefer Notes right now. My question though is, can I have images linked in the notes where the players and click to see them?

If the image has also been shared with the players, they should be able to click the link and have it open the image. If not, they'll probably get a blank image frame open up. Once it's been shared once, they'll be able to use the link from the note to open the image.

Notes are also now fully formatted text boxes rather than just strings, so they should be able to put in lists, links, and such.
