Fantasy Grounds 'Groups'

What's the best way to have private / public self contained discussions on Fantasy Grounds?

Whilst the forums are good for general FG talk, it's not ideal for thrashing out game details. The calendar could be good but the messaging function isn't great.

G+ would seem good, but it's generally the realm of the likes of R20 and hangout games. Obsidian Portal? Epic Words?

I've got a Google group (mailing list) for game discussions with my gaming group. Currently, there's three weekly games running. There's also a Google Drive folder for sharing game info (chat logs and such like) and there's a Google+ group.

I use Obsidian Portal for my campaign specific details/messaging/calendar.

Like Valarian, I personally use either a Yahoo or Google group for each campaign. They are easy to set up and use. Just make sure you set them to private to avoid the perpetual deluge of spam.

I built my own campaign web portal for my groups. It contains some similar functionality to Obsidian Portal but its based on WordPress and some custom plugins.
