In this adventure, the PCs take on the roles of Licktoad goblins, and are in fact counted among that tribe's most powerful members. Chosen by the tribe's chieftain as those best suited for an expedition to secure more fireworks from Scribbleface's secret stash in the old shipwreck, the PCs take part in a celebratory feast and are offered numerous chances to prove their skill in a series of goblin dares. The next morning, the PCs are tasked with the dangerous journey toward the coast. Upon reaching the site marked on the map, the PCs discover not only the location of a large stash of fireworks, but also the lair of one of the Licktoads' most feared enemies-the cannibal goblin Vorka! In order to secure the Licktoads' pride and good fortune by claiming the fireworks, the PCs must defeat the goblin cannibal and escape alive.

My main campaign is Cathedral of Ever After which has yet to start. Having just bought Fantasy Grounds I want to get some experience working with the program, and creating a module. Don't really care when this goes off, but I need at least till Tuesday to create the module in my Fantasy Grounds. Chime in with days/times and if we get 4 people that are compatible I'll run that day/time if I'm able. Those unfamiliar with We be Goblins it's a funny little adventure with just a few fights, and an interesting mini story. Lots of goofiness and role play. . . Who doesn't love playing an evil little goblin? Join up and give a Fantasy Grounds noob GM some experience before he starts a full on campaign.

I would be interested in playing, since Tuesday is my regular day off. Time doesn't matter just need to know when we start.

I'll give this a go. I can not start earlier than 3PM CST though. This will be my first adventure using FG as well and would like to get my feet wet too.

Update - Can't get my run test to work. Fought with the forwarding. . . Having issues, and took it to the house of healing forum. Not sure if I'll get this resolved soon or not, I apologize for the technical difficulties and ask for your patients while I attempt to resolve my issue.

Youd be a most welcome third Baron, but I'm having to reschedual until after I get my GM hosting issue resolved. My friend is a programmer/networking blue collared slave whom is calling in for a favor so I'm going to ask him to look into my issue tomorrow in return.

I am down for this if there is still a spot open.

After about half a week of banging my head on my router, the house of healing forum has solved my modem. I might need a beer run before I input the goblin pc characters due to high level of frustration. . . But I can now host We be goblins. My meat space group is not running Sunday, so I'm willing to run a game tomorrow, and Sunday. I have open availability these two days, so shout out what works for you and what ever time frame we get 4 players for we pull the trigger.

slashe7
June 6th, 2014, 20:09
Tomorrow I work from 4pm to 8pm and on Sunday i most likely work 2pm-6pm. If a time is decided upon i most likely can get that time off.

I am free Monday, Tuesday and Thursday next week.

kwarner1986

I'm not free on weekends until 9pm. The only day this week that looks good for me is Thursday.

cmdisc

Chiming in. Sorry for being late to the chat. Unfortunately, I am unavailable this weekend, but for this next coming week I can be free any day but Tues. Weekdays need to be evenings for me (12pm EST and onward). Fri/Sat can be just about any time. I am UTC +2 atm, but sleep is overrated. :P

Don't worry about the lousy pregens. We'll make them work. ;) I've played WBG2 already, so it's interesting to be hopping back in time a bit story-wise.

SquareCat

Fighter cleric rogue alchemist

cmdisc

I played the Rogue in WBG2 during the 3rd FG-con. Had a blast with him. I'd say more, but don't want to offer any spoilers. ;)

Maybe I'll try my hand at either the Cleric or Alchemist unless someone already claimed them. Any way to see the pregens before gameday?

Poog of Zarongel
Poog is a frightening little cleric of the goblin deity
Zarongel, the sacred god of dog-killing, fire, and
most holy mounted combat. That Poog isn’t very
good at mounted combat is his not-so-secret shame,
so he funnels most of his energy into attempts to
overachieve at his god’s other sacred teachings—
killing dogs (although he hasn’t yet killed one,
he hopes to do so some day) and lighting fires
(something that Poog is already pretty good at).

splintery to play for long without injury)
Goblin Trait: Goblin Bravery
You have a worrying propensity for
overconfidence in combat. When facing an
enemy that’s larger than you, if you have no allies
in any adjacent squares, your posturing, bravado, and
cussing grant a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls with nonreach
melee weapons.
Mogmurch
Ten-year-old Mogmurch is deranged. Mogmurch lives
with his mate Rempty, who has an irritating habit of
licking his face clean in public (especially when he leaves
the village). She thinks his use of alchemy is very clever,
and while she loves the flavor Mogmurch’s experiments
leave on his face, she worries that he’ll some day blow
himself up when she’s not around to watch.

small pot (snack), skull face mask, metal codpiece, jester’s
hat, pumpkin-head lantern, black eyepatch (with hole
cut in it to see), hard leather boot (used as belt pouch),
formula book (contains all extract formulae known)
Goblin Trait: Bouncy
Your bones, flesh, and skin are a bit more elastic than
those of most goblins—when you fall, you tend to
bounce a little better than them as a result. Whenever
you take falling damage, the first 1d6 points of lethal
damage suffered in the fall are automatically converted
to nonlethal damage. You also gain a +2 bonus on all
Reflex saves made to avoid unexpected falls.

Chuffy Li ckwound
Sadistic Chuffy is horrible indeed. He loves to sneak up
on his enemies and stab them. If he gets the chance, he
also likes to light fires—lighting fires is Chuffy’s idea of
great fun, almost as enjoyable as causing big explosions.

(called Stankrush) in a wire cage, 3 spare
bug cages, bottle of brine-soaked alligator
eyes (equivalent to 1 day’s trail rations),
child’s doll with the eyes taken out, grappling
hook, 3 tindertwigs, curved sewing needle, set
of thieves’ tools, cowbell (worn)
Goblin Trait: Pustular
Your face is covered in unpleasant pimples and outright
boils that have a tendency to pop at inopportune
moments. Although this makes you particularly
ugly, you’re also used to discomfort. Whenever you’re
subjected to an effect that causes the sickened condition,
you may make two saving throws to avoid the effect (if
a saving throw is allowed), taking the better of the two
results as your actual saving throw.

Reta Bigba d
Reta likes to torment small, harmless animals and usually
has a pocket full of such creatures in case she gets bored.
She finds it hard not to shout when she speaks, and loves
taking risks in combat to scare her enemies.

of rope with dead moles sewn into it, small silver mirror,
jar of human perfume (half drunk), meat hook, leather
satchel, flint and tinder, set of false teeth, pocketful
of caterpillars
New Feat: Dog-Sniff-Hate
Unlike many goblins, you’re not particularly afraid of
dogs. You know what dogs smell like, and that smell
makes you mad. Very mad.
Prerequisite: Goblin, Skill Focus (Perception)
Benefit: You gain the scent ability, but only against
canines (including dogs, goblin dogs, wolves, worgs,
yeth hounds, and any similar creature, subject to GM
approval). Against these creatures, you gain a +1 morale
bonus on attack rolls and a +2 morale bonus on weapon
damage rolls.
Goblin Trait: Balloon Headed
Your head is particularly wide and large, even for a
goblin. You gain a +1 bonus on Perception checks, and
Perception is always a class skill for you. Any Escape
Artist checks that requires you to squeeze your head
through a tight space take a –8 penalty.

=) I'll take Poog as long as someone else doesn't really want him or have claim to him. Otherwise I'll gladly take whoever is left.

I don't see any other votes on the calendar for Thurs. I'm good for a 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, or 7pm (all EST) start time.

If Barron is good for 6 we can avoid the times you'd rather not play. Kwarner also stated a preference for later. Unfortunately lumito this session is full, I can put you on reserve list incase of a no show. I'm also leaning heavily towards running it again next week, and I can gairantee you a spot for next week.

What's the usual method for posting the ip for a game?
Generate an alias on your load campaign screen and post that rather than the IP address.

If you want to hide the alias, put it in the game calendar and only accepted players will be able to see it.

Unfortunately this session didn't go off. Reschedule for next Thursday the 19th 2pm central. Lumito please feel free to jump on the game calendar and sign up, I'll move you into a primary slot since I seem to have lost baron. Taking back up players, which will be moved into primary slots the week after should we have enough players for another run. There was a little bit of surprise when I had answered in the negative when asked if this was a society run. As previously stated this was meant to be a test run/learning experience for me as a new comer to fantasy grounds, I apologize for any confusion.

timeanddate.com is a useful website.

As another option, the game calendar on this website does these conversions as well - it relies on the GM and players all having entered their correct time zone in their FG website profile. The additional advantage is that the game calendar allows different times to be entered and players vote for which ones they can attend.

SquareCat
June 14th, 2014, 02:45
Not to worry, I went ahead and adjusted the time to reflect my time zone. Bit of a hurdle when playing with people all over the world.

cmdisc
June 14th, 2014, 20:50
I find it VERY convenient as my experience (especially during the CONs) is that everyone is showing up to games from everywhere. So using this calendar setting really helps cut through the confusion.

I'm going to go ahead and vote yes on the game calendar, but I will admit that I may be starting late. Because of that, I don't have a problem with surrendering my spot to someone else. I see there are 5 of us and 4 slots. So I'm ok with being backup. What I'll do is let someone else in and then when I become available that night (probably an hour or so past the scheduled start time), I'll check in on Teamspeak. If you lot are all still around and in need of a player, I'll hop aboard. Otherwise I'll pick it up another time.

In the meantime, SquareCat, once you've grown familiar with FGII in general and PFS specifically, you might really want to look into GMing for them if GMing is your thing. They offer some nice perks. Plus PFS slots seem to fill quickly on here, so you'll always be in demand. FG can always use more PFS GMs. ;)

I will have to bow out this round, but it looks like there are already 4 signed up for the suggested date/time. kwarner1986 and slashe7 have voted. The site is just waiting on lumito to vote and for gevus900 to be confirmed and to vote. Then it looks like you're set to go. I'm going to remove myself from the calendar just to avoid confusion, but let me know about future sessions you might be planning. Have fun with it. Goblins are a blast. :)
