Just entered my first Adventure Module: The Murderer of Thomas Fell for Trail of Cthulhu.

I guess that since it's a free download from the Pelgrane Press web site and I maintain the credits, there should be no problem with Copyright...

If they are distributing it free they will probably be all for it.

Just because something is free doesn't mean that it is copyright free - the publisher/writer usually keeps copyright of their material. This particular adventure is still copyright (bottom of page 3). As others have said, Pelgrane Press are approachable and might give permission to distribute this (or host it on their site) - most publishers like keeping control of any form of their material.
