Hi all, first post, in with a question!

In this thread (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20584-Need-help-with-a-damage-roll-feature&highlight=drop+highest) Moon Wizard talks about advantage in 5E

Sciencephile,

I just added access to 5E for you. The functions you are looking for are ActionsManager2.encodeAdvantage and ActionsManager2.decodeAdvantage.

I guess there is also a Disadvantage function. Would both of these be usable with more than two dice and easily changeable to d6s?

Ie a standard roll is 2d6, however more could be rolled but two are only ever counted?

Actually, those functions handle both advantage and disadvantage. If advantage or disadvantage (but not both), an extra d20 is added in encodeAdvantage. In decode Advantage, it looks for advantage/disadvantage and extra die. It then keeps highest or lowest, respectively; removes extra die; and sets the final die color.

Cheers,

Once I can find where the 5E ruleset is located (see here (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?21225-Where-can-I-find-the-application-data-on-a-Mac-under-Steam)) i'll have a play.

You should send an email to [email protected] I think and then they will give you access....

The ruleset is now public (on the test server) however I want to get into the nuts and bolts and to do that I need to know where it is on my MacBook.
