I've watched a number of videos in which two instances of FG were started. One as the host and the other as a client. When I try to do this with my Steam version I get a message telling me that I can not because FG is already running.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just the way it is with the Steam Version?

EDIT: I found a way to start a client. I just had to go to the app directory and double click on the application. i.e. Not start the second copy from steam.

Luft, I'm Glad you figured it out. Yes, I believe that is the only way to do it when you launch one copy from Steam and one from the full install location. Also, note that we recommend turning off the Steam Overlay for now in your preferences for Fantasy Grounds in Steam under your Library.
