Its a small tip but handy for those who havnt already thought of it.
If you have a creature that (for example) has a breath weapon that they cannot use again for a random amount of time.
Create A spell effect (self) (Im also assuming you have a "spell" set up for the attack on the creature) that says CANNOT USE BREATH WEAPON with a duration of 1d4 rounds.
This way you dont have to keep a manual count and can just glance at the combat Tracker
Thinking about you could use this time other things say make a dummy NPC (invisbile) Called "A BOMB" with an effect on it that says TIME TO DETONATION with a duration of whatever....
