Are you a GM for C&C?

Do you use Fantasy Grounds.

I want your input. Have you used my Hero Lab plugin to create characters?

I need to know what you'd like me to implement, add, change, etc.

Hmm... can you link to the plugin and instructions on how to implement - I'm happy to try it out.

Here's the link on Troll Lords site (https://www.trolllord.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=13531)

Wolfs Lair (https://forums.wolflair.com/showthread.php?t=45590) contains instructions on how to install.

Thanks!

One of the first things I noted was that the currency is currently stated in copper pieces (cp). With a mention of gold pieces (gp) below it near experience. It might be better to split this up into the usual platinum, gold, silver, copper, gems (pp, gp, sp, cp, um... "Gems" for lack of a better word) for currency, as GM's (like myself), *love* taking 10% for money trading :D (it seems all of my players have gone to carrying minimum coinage - not that I blame them). Have not yet had a chance to test the importing (I'm going through the Hero Labs part first). Will get back to you though.

Cheers,

S Ferguson,

Thanks, that's exactly the kinds of things I want.

I was looking at some other rulesets, and they split out the gp/sp/cp.

I do some crazy math to display coins, but I think splitting it out is the way to go.

Right now, if you have less than 1 sp, it displays as cp.

If you have less than 1 gp, but more than 1 sp, it displays as gp.

If you have more than 1 gp, it displays as gp.

So it does a bunch of needless math doing conversions, and I think the way you describe is better.

Thanks,

S Ferguson,

Wow, adding the PP/GP/SP/CP was actually quite simple. Did it on the train on the way into work today.

I'll push the update later today.

No place for Gems yet, that might be more difficult, since each gem is worth different prices.

You can add it as custom gear, but there'd be no place to track the cost, gonna have to think about that.
