The doc says:

/lighting [RGB hex value]
https://www.fantasygrounds.com/images/manual/userguide2/user_gm.gif
Change the lighting to the specified RGB hex value. Consult an HTML color code table for examples.

Which seems wrong. It looks more like /lighting aabbggrr or something.

I'd like more information on this myself... or more pre-set options to choose from.

@Blacky: The colors seem to work for me. They are just six digits, ie Red is FF0000, green 00FF00 and blue 0000FF.

@JohnD: The "web friendly" 216 colors is a good place to start for codes. There is a list here (you will need to scroll down to the bottom of the page): https://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colors.asp

FYI the base FG Sun w/Clouds seems to be: FFFFFF and you know you can hotkey these codes?

My problem is I never remember to use the lighting unless I include the color change at the start of the encounter in my notes. :p

Indeed that works. Yet the rulesets seems to use alpha (which is very useful), like:
<light><window>FFE0FDE6</window></light>

Me too :( But I try to do better…
