As of yesterday my computer became nonresponsive. I am going to have to do a full partition of the hard drive. I am concerned about my fantasy ground files. What files do I need to insure that all the games I made are backed up?

If you have access to it, backup the whole of your <FG App Data Directory> - this will have campaigns, rulesets, modules, extensions, tokens, portraits, etc. It is everything that Fantasy Grounds uses, other than the application program files itself, which will be reinstalled with the FG installer.

%appdata%\Fantasy grounds II
or
%appdata%\Fantasy grounds\

which on Vista/7/8 will be c:\users\[computer username]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds II
and on XP
c:\documents and settings\[computer username]\AppData\Roaming\Fantasy Grounds II

assuming you can't get into windows at all I find getting hold of a linux live disk ( download and burn it on another computer) and booting of this and then copying your fantasy grounds folders plus any thing else onto a usb drive, as for what type of linux I would recommend Puppy Linux as its really light on resourses

"As of yesterday my computer became non-responsive" Well if you computer blew up this is to be expected. You maybe be able to take your hard drive to to a computer forensic specialist to retrieve any data from the disk that was damage during the explosion.

hehehhe... that was comical, if a bit cruel.

Haven't heard from Trueshots though. He was supposed to play last Tuesday and is supposed to play this Tuesday. Would like to know how he's doing with this.
