Need a little help with, I think, TRGT abilities.

I'm playing a character in 4e with Protective Hex and Armor of Dark Majesty. When I curse an enemy, that enemy gets -2 to attack anyone who isn't me, and I get +2 defenses against that cursed target.

What I THINK I need to do is this:

Create an effect TRGT; Def: 2
Select the enemy
drag effect onto myself

then

Create an effect TRGT; ATK: -2
Select party members
Drag effect onto monster

I'm not 100% sure if that's what I'm supposed to do, and I'm not 100% sure it's working since the patch. Can someone give me a hand?

Use Shift-Drag and you should be good.
