Hosting issues

So, since version 3 of FG came out, I have been having issues hosting. Whenever I run a test for hosting, it always fails. At some point (not sure when) I didn't have to make sure of a static IP in my routers settings. Has this changed that I have to go back into my router to create a static IP to host? Thanks

Hey Sir Ransalot - nothing really should have changed.
Did you configure your Router or are you using UPNP?

Load up your campaign.
Open up a second instance on the same computer and check you can connect.
Are you using WiFi and a LAN cable? If so - disconnect one or the other. Close FG and open and test above again.
Then if you have another computer on the same LAN as your host computer test using the Hosts Internal IP.
If these work then the issue is on the Router.
If it doesnt work issue is on local PC - AV/Firewall or Windows Firewall.

If the local computers work then the issue is with Router.

You know what, I feel like a total moron, lol. I just reset my router and tried again...... Yeah, it worked. Thanks damned. For some reason, you saying just anything about the router made me think "Oh, try to reset the router" and that did it!
