Inspired by the responses for ElementalAjah's tokens (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?20084-Hi-Res-Rusty-Letter-Tokens), there's a set I did for an upcoming pirate rpg ruleset.

Generic Tokens Alphabet Rusted 2

Exist in three sizes: 50px, 100px, 200px. A .mod for each, to limit memory waste, and also available in pure PNG as one big 7-zip pack if you don't want to use modules. Note: because of FG's not very good image downscaling, the big tokens have small graphical glitches when zoomed out (now that I know this, I'll check for future tokens).

And a second one, more oriented modern campaign, or SciFi, or something like zombie apocalypse:

Generic Tokens Alphabet Modern Grunge 1

And a third one, based upon real early 18th century “Piece of Eight”. But this is just a preview, the modules will be released at the same time as the release of the Pavillon Noir Reloaded (https://pibrac.franchouille.fr/) ruleset they are meant for.

Excellent.
Very nice work!

I find that I use the letters and numbers quite often in campaigns and it helps to have several different sets available.
Thank you for sharing.

I would have included those in the first post, but the forum doesn't allow more then 10 images per post

And a fourth one, done for Paul Pratt and the Warhammer 40K Dark Heresy ruleset:

Put your 3 .PNG files together into one .PNG file.

Very helpful, thanks Blacky.

However, I am having trouble getting your "Generic Tokens Alphabet Modern Grunge 1" tokens to open. Fantasy Grounds can't see any of the three .mod files when I go to the module activation screen. The others are working just fine. Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks

Might be my mistake, I'll investigate it and get back to you.

Edit 1: it's my mistake indeed. I'm correcting it and uploading it back.

Edit2: done and uploaded. I optimized my tokens some time ago and made the mistake of adding a directory in the zip/mod file. Tested all 3 sizes of Grunge, it works. I'm correcting another set too, had the same error.

And added the links to download the Pieces of 8 set that ship with the Pavillon Noir Reloaded ruleset.

For some reason, I still can't get the Grunge token mods to work properly--all others showing up in my Fantasy Grounds application, but not these. I just downloaded from this page (twice): https://chezblacky.franchouille.fr/jeux-de-roles/jdr-a-distance/tokens-alphabet-modern-grunge-1/ Is that the proper link?

Yup that's it. There's 4 files on that page, one is a generic archive with all the PNG (.7z format), the 3 others are the Fantasy Grounds modules (.mod) in 3 sizes. I just tested, downloaded from the site those three into the FG module directory, launched it, there where there working.

Maybe you took the .7z file by mistake?

Don't know what the problem is, but I still can't get FG to see those .mod files for the Grunge tokens, trying just now a third time. However, I am successfully using them as a set of .PNG tokens, so that works, and looks sharp.

Thanks again!

You did put them in the modules folder I take it? Silly question I know, but it sometime pays to check the basics.

Maybe if a third party test those Grunge Token module, they could check if they work for them. If not, I'm at a loss, they work for me (FG live channel version, up to date).

Do you use Windows? The only thinh I can think of, maybe, would be using Linux ou MacOs and they handle zip compression in a different way; but that seems highly unlikely too.

Yes I use Windows 7 Version 6.1. I agree a third party to test would be helpful.

@Valarian, yes I put the .mod files in the modules folder -- and the other three are working.

@damned We must go to the same optometrist, but Blacky's is more advanced! Mine are 18th Century goggles...

I just tested all 4 of them using Windows 7 64-bit and they worked fine for me.

@Hector You might have a problem with duplicate modules with different file names. Try going through and deleting all modules with a modify date over the last few days that deal with tokens. It's unpredictable what will happen when you have the same module with a different file names since FG really goes by the internal module name. One thing that can happen is you can't open either one.

The other issue can be that some un-zip utilities "helpfully" realize that modules files are zip file in disguise so they change the modules extension from .mod to .zip - which breaks the module. If you don't have show file extensions on, you should check the file extensions to make sure they are .mod.

It works! Against all odds and rationality. Now I've got the module versions of the Grunge tokens working. @Griogre, I suspect it was something to do with the multiple names confusing FG... but I didn't do anything different this time compared to last time. Who knows...
