[3.0] What is that little 3x3 grid icon in the image toolbar for?

It has no mouseover text as far as I can tell and only shows up when you drop a grid down.

It puts you in selection mode (the mouse icon will change when over the image), allowing you to click-drag an area to multi-select tokens.
