I am a long-time RPG fan and played most every version of D&D up to 3.5 - tried 4.0 but just wasn't my thing.
I am also big on a few other systems, mostly the HERO System.
I very much want to get into / learn Pathfinder and this seems the easiest option; have not been able to find a local group and my old group is mostly too busy with work / kids / life.
Very new to online RPG stuff overall - done a few failed PBB / PBEM games and am even trying to run my own such HERO System game on HEROCentral.net, but very much want to learn Pathfinder.
I learn by doing and would need a GM who won't be averse to a little "teaching as we play" - mostly with the online tools and PFS specific stuff, not so much the rules of the system - that I have a fairly decent grasp on, I think.
I'm central time in the US and most weekday evenings would be not too problematic; though my job does sometimes throw me a curveball and I cannot *gaurantee* I would never have to work on a night where we are scheduled to play. This has happened maybe 4 times in the last year.
