View Full Version : Open ended hotkey syntax option?

I was wondering if there were a hotkey option or syntax that would allow a hotkey to start a chat string without sending it.

Something like creating a hotkey that looked like the following:

/e swung with all his might but

and then when the hotkey was hit, it would transfer the line to chat and allow me to finish the sentence as appropriate. Currently it seems hotkeys just push the whole thing through at once.

I'm just looking to save some time by creating hotkeys for various chat starter info.

Another example would be a hotkey that setup a language from the language extension file since it's very sensitive to spellings:

/la celestial

Any formats for doing this? A hotkey would be perfect but if there were a way to create a note or something that could be dragged and dropped (not cut & pasted), that would be acceptable.

Thanks.

Use the hotkeys as they are now, but instead of clicking the hotkey that has the '/e swung with all his might but ', click and drag the hotkey to the chat input. It will drop the text into chat input waiting for you to finish the sentence.
