Is there a tutorial for that anywhere? I really want to take a stab at putting D6 Star Wars or Deadlands Classic into FG2.

This thread is geared towards the 3.5e ruleset, but contains a lot of info about modifying rulesets and where to go for information: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?19033-Modifying-the-3-5e-PFRPG-ruleset
As a recommendation - you'll find it easier, and more future proof, to develop your ruleset using the CoreRPG layered ruleset architecture of FG 3.0 (which is in beta at the moment).
Also, there is a basic Star Wars d6 ruleset available now that will probably help you in some areas: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?16475-Star-Wars-d6

Keep in mind that this upgrades the whole of your installation to FG 3.0 - so backup any 2.9.4 "stuff" you have (campaigns, rulesets, modules, extensions, etc.) just in case. It will also mean that any games you run or want to join will also need to be on FG 3.0 or you need to go back to 2.9.4.

you can roll forwards/backwards - but your campaigns wont roll backwards... keep a backup f your 2.9.4 campaigns or work in separate ones...
