New Player, Looking For Introduction to D and D

Hi, I have relatively no D and D experience, but I've always wanted to play in a proper game of 4E, and this seems like the perfect environment for me... Is there anyone willing to provide a "tutorial run" to get me into the whole concept before I purchase the software properly? I'm interested in being a PC... Cheers, thanks in advance! :)

Oooops - I misunderstood your post in the other forum. If you want to be a player get the Demo version downloaded and sign up for a game at www.fg-con.com - lots of games at lots of different timeslots. Dont worry if the game that fits you most is not 4E. If it is PFS you will need to check PFS guidelines before playing.
