Encumbrance not working in deadlands

I've created a character (GM ultimate ed.). I have given him some stuff, and while it sets the encumbrance carried correctly, the encumbrance limit just stays at 0.

You have to type that manually. I also noticed that limit field does not give any user input highlighting, but just click the field and input number
