Howdy,

Finally got first game up and running with folks. Thanks for all the tips/help. Much appreciated.

Do you know if there are any files to import character tokens? The ones that folks want their character to look like. The only ones i've seen are the standard.

Thanks again.

The quick way is for a player to use their portrait as a token - drag the portrait in the top right of the screen to the token section on the character sheet.

As portraits are controlled by the player, the player has to put their required portrait file in <FG Application data directory>\portraits on their own PC and then the image will appear in their portrait selection window in FG.

GMs can also do this by connecting to their own campaign as localhost and then adding portraits to a character sheet as if they were a player. Then, the portrait can be used as a token.

If you want to have a different token to the PC portrait then the GM has to load image files on their own PC to <FG Application data directory>\tokens\host - if this directory does not exist, create it manually in Windows Explorer. These images will then appear to the GM in the token bag and can be dragged to the character sheet to tie the token to the PC.

Also, there are 2 types of images associated with player characters right now.

The "portrait" is displayed on the upper left of the tabletop when a player is connected, and pulls from the portraits subfolder of the FG data directory of the machine setting the portrait.

The "token" is the image used on the battle mat to designate the player during tactical encounters, and pulls from the tokens/host (GM-only) or tokens/shared (GM or player) subfolders of the FG data directory of the GM machine.
