I'm in, too. I'll be playing the same character as I did for First Steps 1, so you should have everything already ^^

As I understood it, we could modify our characters as we would as long as we are level one?

Ive played a lot of melee lately, so was thinking of doing a more buff/control/spellcasting/partyface-bard, so Ive made some changes to it. Have fixed it in FG, so all should be good, but got a few tweaks left.

Also, how does Society consider the RP-stuff of traits etc? The trait it self is valid, but in the book it says it belongs to a certain category of local humans, and another "belonging" to a certain diety. Need to follow that strictly, or can one pick and choose as one wants, without too much fuss?

Asok has done part 1 & 3, might as well get 2 out of the way to get 2nd Level.

For Religious traits, you must worship the deity in question to benefit from the trait. For background traits you should either be of that race, from that area, etc. or have a good background to justify you having the trait.

From the Advanced Players Guide:

Remember also that traits are intended to model events that were formative in your character’s development, either events from before he became an adventurer, or (in the case of additional traits gained via the Additional Traits feat) ones that happened while adventuring. Even if your character becomes a hermit and abandons society, he’ll still retain his legacy of growing up an aristocrat if he took the relevant social trait. The one exception to this is religion traits—since these traits require continued faith in a specific deity, your character can indeed lose the benefits of these traits if he switches religions.
To be honest, a lot of GMs won't check and let you use them. However, some GMs may ask you about your bonuses and rule-out invalid traits - which is a completely valid practice. I played in a game at PaizoCon this last weekend and the GM frequently asked players where their bonuses were coming from and she would have been completely within her right to invalidate players use of traits/feats/etc..

This is a grey area however, and depends on a lot on how players get their information for characters. For example, if someone built a PC using the excellent d20pfsrd.com website, a lot of the traits don't have any information about what they are linked to.

Remember, that as a PFS player, any valid trait, feat, spell, archtype, etc. you use from the players resource list https://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/about/additionalResources *you* have to have access to the actual product that came from and be able to provide information about it to the GM.

Thanks Trenloe for the clarification.

PS: Wow, the table filled in 12 hours! This should be a hint for us FG GMs that there are many new characters looking to explore the world as new Pathfinder recruits! :)

Ive spent every copper (yes, the last 6 coppers on candles), from the 150 starting gold. I was thinking about picking up a couple of scorpion whips to have for support while hiding behind the buff melee, and I was wondering wether I could add them to the inventory right away, and deduct the cost from the money Im supposed to get from last session? I got at least som from dayjobing. Or, should we wait and take it in game?

Sure. You're getting 500gp. You can spend them now (listing what you're buying) and I will add it to your chronicle sheet. (Which I will do tonight...)

Just 2 Scorpion Whips, as from Errataed Adventureres Armory. They are the same as regular whips, but deal lethal damage, and do 1d4 instead of 1d3 for Medium creatures. The weapon also has the perform special thingy, but that doesnt matter much atm.
They cost 5g each. Thanks :)

I changed the skillpoints around a bit and added a profession skill so that I can have a dayjob.

I updated both my files again. And changed my mind a good deal about my character. It still aims towards the same job as before. but does it in a bit diffrent way. For some reason I could not get the items module activated in my fantasy ground. But I have the gear changes planned. Pretty much just selling the longspear, and getting a druids kit and a hide armour, heavy wooden shield and a scimitar.

Belowyn & Cyberklad:

Pathfinder Society requires tracking of purchases on chronicle sheets so the PCs have an audit trail that can be audited at any point in time. I can't just put "stuff bought x gp".

For future reference, please put transactions (bought, sold, consumed) in the Notes tab on the character sheet, or post a list on the forums here to help your GM prepare your chronicle sheets.

Since you both respec'ed, it's a puzzle to try to reconcile the gp you should be carrying at the end of First Steps 2.

Could you both provide a complete list of items bought/sold between the end of First Steps 1 (see previous chronicle sheet) and the end of First Steps 2 please?

For reference your characters should have a total of:

150 gp (starting money) +
416 gp (First Steps part 1) +
419 gp (First Steps part 2) -
value of consumable items used during both scenarios -
value of items bought and currently carried.

Thanks.

The chronicle sheets for Dakadin, Codden, Haven, Pietro & Asok are on my dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/57hak3kfumgd0tz/rs3zPVxNA4/PFSFS2). Please download them and verify they are accurate. Since you're allowed to respec during level 1, do not hesitate to communicate any change you would like to see on your chronicle sheets.

Thanks for the game!
