secret dice rolls question

Hi all, been off the scene for a few months recovering from expo lol!!

Was just sitting here reading about secret rolls, when I thought hmmm... I wonder how gms deal with Secret rolls and the use of bennies? So, how do you deal with this?

Well one I rarely use secret rolls, but when I do the players can tell if their roll exploded, so I just ask them do they want to Benny that last roll?

If they did critically fail I would mention they have a bad feeling about this (not that it's ever happened!).

Then it's up to them, and I take the best roll. Players in my game have been known to spend a Benny on a secret roll!
