So I have some sized images for monsters, but cant' find out where to place them?
It says on the main page to open application data folder, but I don't have that particular folder. I have a data directory folder.
I'm using windows 8 as well.

In FG2 token files (.jpg or .png images) go in your Fantasy Grounds Application Data folder (best way to find this is to go to Start/Programs/FantasyGrounds2/Application Data Folder)
The files should be put into a folder called "tokens" (create it if it's not there) inside a subdirectory called "host" or "shared" depending on whether you want players to be able to place them or not (create those subdirectories also if they aren't there)
Note that anything inside the "shared" folder gets pushed to players when they load the game so it can slow their load times if too many are in there.
Maybe its called something different in Windows 8 though not sure. Regardless, I've attached a screenshot of what the folder directory structure looks like. If it looks like that then that's the one you need. In other words, don't put them in the FG2 program folder (the one with the FatnasyGrounds.exe in it)

When I search for my appdata folder this is where it takes me:

When I double click on the application data folder, it takes me here:

No tokens folder. I tried testing it by adding one but it doesnt seem to do anything.
It's odd because I have 3 token bags in my FG labeled: "Character Pogs, Letter Tokens, and Monster Pogs"

So you're saying in the data directory folder to create a folder called shared (or host) and then just put a tokens folder in it?

As mentioned by Invictys, create both the tokens folds and shared and host under this one. See this recent thread: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19011
You'll need to copy your token image files into these directories to see them. Do this before starting Fantasy Grounds as changes to the tokens directory are only seen when the application starts up.

These are modules - you will have activated them in the "Module Activation" screen (in the library) and their data is not stored in the tokens directory.

Sorry if it wasn't clear the images go inside either tokens/host or tokens/shared depending on whether you want players to be able to place them or not.
So you create a directory inside the data directory folder called "tokens" and then inside that folder create two subdirectories one called "host" and the other called "shared" into which you place the images themselves.
Note that inside those subdirectories any other folders and subfolders you create will show up as separate token bags so you can organize your tokens better. My token bag has like 5 main bags with many many sub-bags.
I have no idea why FG2 doesn't just create these directories for you but it doesn't.

These are modules - you will have activated them in the "Module Activation" screen (in the library) and their data is not stored in the tokens directory.
To further complicate matters if you want more customization you can take those images out of the .mod files
I purchased a few token modules from the Fg2 store but I didn't like the way my token bag had so many bags (folders) in it (it had like 10 or more) so I extracted the images out of the module files and added them to my tokens/host directory in an organized way that made sense to me.
If you change the .mod file extension to .zip and ignore the windows warning you get while doing so you can then unzip the file and copy the images themselves into whatever subdirectory of tokens/host you wish.
