In researching a recently recovered druidic lorestone, the Pathfinder Society learns of a powerful artifact with the power to turn men into bestial abominations. Amid claims of increased werewolf activity in the region, the PCs travel into the heart of the Verduran Forest to retrieve the valuable relic from a cabal of evil druids believed to currently hold it.

I already have up to date chronicles and characters for Wulf (borusa32), Ronatain Artemius 3rd (Stordyr) and Fertiti (Fau) so I've accepted them. First places in this game will go to people who played in my previous game or that I know personally.

Cool thanks, I've also got in contact with Rhia and will help her create a character. That means we have 5 players so far, so the game is on :-)

If you need a copy of my one chronicle, let me know, and I can share the pdf with you.

June 19th, 2013, 07:14

Yeah can you post a PDF of your chronicle thanks. I was going to run the Frostfur captives next, looks like a fun scenario.

I can sort out getting your character into Fantasy Grounds.

Here you go, sir!

This is my first experience with a VTT, so I may need a little help. Frostfur Captives was fun, especially when the GM gives personality to the gobbies!

June 19th, 2013, 17:24
Thanks, nice character by the way :-)

I'll have the server up at running an hour before we're supposed to start so if you log in early I can quickly run through the interface.

This series of videos is quite good:

I'd encourage everyone to log in early so we can sort out any technical problems before we're supposed to start. We really need to get this done in one session so I'd like to avoid any hold-ups.

Ok, an hour before will be about 8 am for me. No problem! The sun will wake me far before then. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment about the character. I am intending for him to be sort of like Superboy. He was supposed to be almost a life golem created in old Azlant or Thassilon, no one really knows. He was discovered by a Pathfinder from the Shadow Lodge and brought before Grandmaster Torch. The half-orc told him that by joining the Pathfinders, he could discover more of his past. Thus he holds a high loyalty for the Shadow Lodge.

I think Konnar gets another language since Common and Taldane are the same thing.

June 20th, 2013, 22:20
Yeah, I have an open slot, but plan to leave it open for a language that makes sense through gameplay.

With a thump, Venture-Captain Brackett sets a rounded
granite stone on his desk. The stone is polished smooth and
veined with shallow carvings reminiscent of constellations.

"This is a lorestone, from the depths of the Verduran Forest.
It’s rumored to hold all of the secrets of the druids of that
ancient wood. Just over two years ago, a group of Pathfinders
recovered this stone for us. We’re not much closer to cracking
its secrets than we were on the day those agents put it into our
hands, but we have gleaned one interesting bit of knowledge."

"The lorestone tells of a lengthy ritual using an artifact called
the Atavistic Splinter, a piece of charred bark touched by Gozreh
himself. The ritual transforms humanoids into bestial creatures
with preternatural resilience. We could use something with this
kind of power for the upcoming Ruby Phoenix Tournament in
Goka, so we need you to recover the Atavistic Splinter for us."

"We believe the artifact is near the gnome town of Wispil,
deep in the Verduran Forest. A Pathfinder operative there—a
gnome herbalist named Falbin—was investigating increased
lycanthrope activity south of Wispil. Falbin discovered that
a sinister cabal of druids in a compound called Briar Henge
is using the Atavistic Splinter to perform the ritual, probably
to drive out the local loggers, but he couldn’t recover the
Atavistic Splinter from the druids by himself."

“Go to Wispil and contact Falbin there. He will provide you
with directions to Briar Henge and recent intelligence regarding
the situation around Wispil. Then use this information to
infiltrate Briar Henge and acquire the Atavistic Splinter."

Sorry for short notice, but I have to pull out of this game, I just got called into work. On-call can be brutal.

June 22nd, 2013, 17:19
That's a pity, Thanks for letting me know.

Konnar Ul Rae
June 22nd, 2013, 19:07
Captain, what rights do we have to the splinter? It sort of seems like we are just doing a smash and grab. Are these druids truly a threat? Do they have any connection to this lycanthropy problem?

June 22nd, 2013, 19:17
The server is up and running

June 23rd, 2013, 00:46
Looks like we need another session to finish, so we'll continue next Saturday 29th at the same time (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Tide%20Of%20Twilight&iso=20130629T20&p1=136&ah=5).

Be sure to let me know if you can't make it.

June 26th, 2013, 23:20
I'll try to make your next game Rob

June 27th, 2013, 00:05
Will Gateway be able to jump in, or are we too far in?

June 27th, 2013, 07:17
There isn't much of this scenario left Gateway, you can't really join at this point. I'll be running another one soon though.

June 29th, 2013, 01:01
Yep not a problem, that's what I meant by my comment, didn't think I could make this one :P

June 29th, 2013, 19:36
Seems the fantasy grounds server is back up http://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19046

But the Teamspeak server still seems down so we'll use "Ronatin's"

June 30th, 2013, 09:48
Thanks for playing everyone, that was awesome.

I'll post the chronicle sheets in a day or two, if you need yours in a hurry let me know.

June 30th, 2013, 17:21
